Founded by Clara Barton and formed on May 21, 1881, the American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief and education in the United States, has had a long and faithful presence here in Williamsport. This traditional, large suite is dedicated to the countless volunteers, as well as our community, who have supported them over the years.

Our traditional rooms, with their large windows and soft colors, provide a very comfortable atmosphere. Private toilet/shower rooms are brightly lit as well, and the original charm and character of this old city hall adds to the beauty of each room.

The American Red Cross Suite (Suite 104) has some wonderful bonus features, including a separate T.V. Room with a fireplace (temporarily non-working) and pull-out QUEEN sleeper sofa, ideal for a family traveling with children and/or guests.

The master bedroom features one of the building's delicately-ornate walk-in vaults, used back in the early days of the Old City Hall. Now a walk-in closet, this safe is as decorative as it is functional.

The spa-like bathroom, with its ball & clawfoot jet bath as well as separate shower with rain shower head, is a great way to pamper a weary traveler or two.
